Paul Barratt

One of the most important aspects for successful hypnotherapy is a good client and hypnotherapist working relationship. During the hypnotherapy sessions in Wymondham I’ll be asking questions to find out more about you, and in return I feel it’s important for you to find out a little about me.

My name is Paul Barratt, I’m a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist and practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming and I’ve been running my hypnotherapy practice in Wymondham for over 10 years now. I’d be the first to admit that when I first started on the path of training to be a hypnotherapist, I didn’t quite appreciate the powerful, life changing results this gentle therapy could provide. I also underestimated just how much of a rewarding career choice hypnotherapy would be. Now, I can proudly claim to have worked with many hundreds of clients helping them to overcome a wide range of issues.

Hypnotherapy and client success has now become my passion. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing the positive changes people make through the hypnotherapy sessions we have together. Helping clients to realise and appreciate they no longer have to feel, react or be the way they once were.

I really do appreciate that every client is unique and the issues they wish to overcome are personal to them. For this reason, I do not use a one size fits all approach. I adapt and change hypnotherapy and associated techniques to suit you, the individual. In turn this helps to ensure the most successful outcome in the shortest time possible.

I consider my working methodology to be relaxed and informal, incorporating a wide variety of techniques and elements of hypnotherapy, NLP, CBT, EFT, EMDR into each individualised therapy program. I listen and observe without judgment to ensure a respectful client therapist relationship is maintained.

Most of the clients I see are referrals from either previous or existing clients. I believe there can be no better evidence for successful hypnotherapy than a referral or recommendation.

I commonly treat clients struggling with anxiety, stress, depression, low confidence and self-esteem, weight issues, IBS, addictions and compulsions including smoking. I’m a teacher of mindfulness and meditation and encourage all clients to practice these techniques between sessions as I’ve found them to be a great complement to successful hypnotherapy.
